Plaza Construction Corporation is the Construction Manager for a new
mixed-use project at 200 Chambers Street. Jack Resnick & Sons is developing
the 29-story mixed-use structure that will rise 300 feet and have views
of the Hudson River, Battery Park and Tribeca's Washington Street Market
Park. The site is bordered by West, Chambers and Warren Streets with a
footprint of 35,000 SF.
The concrete building will include 398
residential units, 11,000 SF of
streetscape retail and a two-level subterranean
parking facility. In the
south wing, the developer has reserved
space for a community facility, complete
with a swimming pool. The building
facade will be a metal and glass
curtain wall design.
The building’s amenities include:
• A marble and hand-finished lobby
• 9' entrance doors to each residence
• Premium hard wood floors
• State-of-the-art kitchens with stainless
steel appliances, ceramic tile
floors, granite countertops and
maple cabinets.

Construction logistics at this site require close coordination with the surrounding community, particularly at
the eastern end of the site where an elementary school, served by a bus stop on Warren Street, is located. The project is scheduled for completion mid-2007.
