1212 Lincoln Road

1212 Lincoln Road is a mixed-use development on Miami Beach built by Plaza Construction. In total, the project is about 70,000 square feet of retail along with over 400 parking spaces. 

The first phase of the 5-story development includes a multi-level parking garage, along with retail options, and a new Wells Fargo bank on the ground floor. Well Fargo’s existing branch on the corner of Alton Road and Lincoln Road was demolished upon completion of the new branch, allowing the second phase to proceed. Phase two includes retail and a 50-room CitizenM Hotel.

Plaza worked closely with owners,  structural engineering consultants,  and FPL to overcome the difficulty of working adjacent to power lines until they could be relocated underground. This project entailed constructing the new 5-story parking garage over an existing building that remained operational during the construction process. Exceptional planning and communication with the business owners, subcontractors, ownership and the MD Fire Department resulted in a successful execution of this task.

As construction manager, Plaza worked directly with the owner and designers to deliver this project for an on-time and within-budget completion.
