Centro Lofts
Southeast - Commercial / Mixed Use, Residential / Multi-Family
Centro Lofts
Standing 37 stories tall in Downtown Miami this project consisted of 352 loft-style condominiums and street-level office, retail, and restaurant space. This building was the first development to be approved by the city to not require a parking garage due to its urban location. As a replacement, a valet, five-spot Car2Go auto sharing hub, and a bicycle parking area were provided. The projects downtown location required extensive planning and coordination to overcome the restricted staging area. While erecting the cast-in-place structure, field crews held daily meetings to coordinate sidewalk and lane closures as well as utilizing outrigger netting during vertical work to ensure the safety of the community. This project is Florida Green Building Certified.
