Eleven Times Square
Northeast - Commercial / Mixed Use
Eleven Times Square
Eleven Times Square is an extraordinary, environmentally responsible modern building befitting its marquee location. The 1.1 million square-foot tower’s sophisticated design allows for prominent exterior building signage 600 feet above Times Square. The LEED Gold property also includes 50,000 sq. ft. of retail space on three levels and 13,000 sq. ft. of retail signage along 42nd Street and the corner of Eighth Avenue. Standing at 601’ tall, it consists of 40 occupied stories above grade with one cellar. The 3-story lobby has full height cast-glass panels and hand-chiseled marble columns, with granite floors.
Times Square was built with the core first system, building the concrete core above the steel perimeter frame. To coordinate this process three cranes were deployed, one was utilized for building the concrete core, and two were used to erect the steel. The core first system enabled us to build on time and under budget, without any safety issues.
