Standing 43 stories tall, this condominium complex features a seven-story precast parking garage, 299 units, and its own public park. The garage’s “zero lot line” resulted in some logistical challenges for Plaza considering the structures proximity to a residential neighborhood. Connecting the garage to the building is an elevated glass bridge reaching 25’ long and attaching at the third level. The building’s uniquely shaped 400’ by 50’ footprint along with using angled balconies provides each unit with east to west views. Closeness to the water required a 45-day dewatering process and the installation of 500 piles reaching 45’ and 65’ deep. Extensive coordination was required to incorporate utilities located 300 yards from the jobsite.
