Joe's Stone Crab Fishery

Located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, this warehouse and storage facility serves restaurants in Miami, Las Vegas, and Chicago. This project included administrative offices, loading docks, hot and cold dipping tubs, shakedown areas, sorting rooms and a 2,000 sq. ft. freezer. Sanitary and cleaning stations were installed along with ceilings mounted crane equipment. Before construction could commence, field crews were tasked with demolishing an existing fishery and removing environmental hazards, including an underground fuel tank. Crews also installed 182 auger cast piles and concrete caps across 400 lineal feet to support the seawall, structure, and avoid erosion of the property. This project was built just in time for stone crab season.
