Park Lane Hotel
Plaza Construction was selected to provide Preconstruction and Construction Management services for the renovation of the Park Lane Hotel, located between 5th and 6th Avenues in midtown Manhattan overlooking Central Park. The hotel was originally designed by the prolific design firm Emery Roth and Sons and constructed in 1971 by the famous New York City Developer Harry Helmsley.
PBDW Architects and Yabu Pushelberg Design collaborated to create a new Rooftop Events venue, Lobby bar, canopy covered Lounge space on roof setbacks and at grade in Rose Lane along with a complete refurbishment of 610 Guestrooms, Ballrooms, Gym, The Park Room and a Restaurant. The north-facing top floors were renovated into Presidential suites and a Media Room with unparalleled views of Central Park
