Raleigh Hotel

The modernization of The Raleigh Hotel was arranged to incorporate new elements while also improving the quality of historic elements. The updates included the hotel’s lobby, bar, and lounge. Restoration of the common areas, hotel rooms, outdoor café, beachside cabanas, and pool area complete the additional work done. Construction was done two floors at a time in order to minimize the impact on the hotel. Plaza worked together with the Historic Preservation Board and the City of Miami Beach to cultivate the original 1940s design. Special attention was also given to restoring the pool to its initial 1940s condition.
