Plaza Construction is the construction manager for the Phase I expansion of the Resorts World Casino New York City located at the Aqueduct Racetrack in Jamaica, Queens.
The nearly 500,000 square foot expansion consists of a ten-story, 400 room four-star hotel, with five-star suites with a new two-story grand entrance. The expansion will include several new food and beverage venues, conference and meeting rooms, a high-tech fitness center and additional retail space. In addition, there will be an extension of the existing gaming including up to 800 new electronic video games. The project supports 1,000 construction jobs.
Resorts World Casino New York City is the only casino in New York City, attracting approximately 10 million guests annually while generating over $2 billion for the State’s education system since opening in 2011.
The Casino will remain fully operational during the entirety of the construction project with limited construction disruption.
