Temple Beth Shalom
The expansion of the Miami Temple Beth Sholom included larger worship and congregation areas, a new chapel, youth center, welcome center, and administrative offices. The original temple was built in the mid-1940s, so the preservation of authentic elements was important. Elaborate staging plans were devised to prevent complications when reconstructing a new building in between two fully functional structures. Plaza worked to ensure minimal impact on the existing temple’s daily functions throughout the construction process.
